PixGrabber allows arranging image collection without visiting sites themselves. You just have to specify the URL you want to the project to start from and the level of image-containing web pages nesting.
In addition to this, PixGrabber has an ability to download images using masks. In case you wish to download images from a certain gallery and you know format of the links to these images, all you need is set URL mask and download range. For example, you wish to download images from a gallery www.my_pictures.com/gallery1/ and images in this gallery has filenames from 0001.jpg to 0150.jpg. You need to set mask www.my_pictures.com/gallery1/(*).jpg, set images download range (from 1 to 150) and also specify the number of digits - 4 (filename format 0001.jpg includes four digits).
You can limit the range of target web pages by specifying a domain name, image dimensions (in pixels), image size (in kb), and also remove specific file types (jpeg, gif, png, etc.) from download list.
Saved images can be bounded to rubrics automatically, rated; also you can add comments to any image.
